Project overview
The construction sector is responsible for 40% of CO₂ emissions, 50% of all extracted materials and 35% of waste generated.
To help tackle this, the European innovation project TIMBERHAUS develops circular solutions for sustainable wood construction.
Cities
TIMBERHAUS solutions will be adopted and deployed in three pilot cities: Berlin (Germany), Baia Mare (Romania) and Siena (Italy).
