TIMBERHAUS will soon take part in the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026 in Brussels, one of Europe’s leading events celebrating sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion in the built environment. The Festival brings together citizens, innovators, policymakers, designers and researchers to explore new ways of shaping a more beautiful and sustainable future.
During the event, TIMBERHAUS will be present at a shared stand together with the WOODSTOCK project, welcoming visitors interested in the future of sustainable architecture and construction. The stand will offer an open space for discussion on innovative building approaches and on how under-utilised natural resources such as wood and timber can play a stronger role in Europe’s green transition. Visitors are invited to stop by, meet the project teams, exchange ideas and learn more about circular and low-impact solutions for the construction sector.
As part of the Festival programme, TIMBERHAUS and WOODSTOCK will also host an interactive workshop titled “Designing with Underutilised Wood: NEB Values in Practice”. The session will invite participants to collaboratively explore how underused wood materials can be integrated into future building concepts while applying the core New European Bauhaus values of Beautiful, Sustainable and Inclusive. Through creative group activities, sketches and discussions, attendees will reflect on design choices, trade-offs and practical opportunities for more responsible construction models.
The participation at the NEB Festival is an exciting opportunity for TIMBERHAUS to connect with a wider audience, showcase ongoing innovation, and contribute to the European conversation on climate-friendly and people-centred building solutions.
